10-year limited structural warranty
For the original purchaser, ODSai warrants the structural solid-teak frame of an online furniture piece against manufacturing defects for 10 years from delivery. The warranty applies to normal private outdoor use and is additional to mandatory consumer rights.
What the warranty covers
Coverage applies when a confirmed defect in material or workmanship causes the teak structure or a structural joint to fail during normal use. ODSai may inspect the piece and choose an appropriate repair, replacement part, replacement piece, or refund where repair or replacement is not reasonable.
Natural teak is not a defect
Variation in grain and tone, gradual silver-grey weathering, surface checking that does not affect structural integrity, movement consistent with solid timber, and ordinary changes caused by climate are natural material characteristics and are not covered defects.
Exclusions
The warranty does not cover incorrect assembly, misuse, impact, overloading, commercial or rental use unless agreed in writing, standing water, extreme weather, fire, chemicals, unsuitable cleaners or finishes, neglected maintenance, unauthorized repair or alteration, normal wear, cushions, glass, lamps, or third-party accessories.
Making a claim
Email outside@od.sailisha.com with the order number, a description of the issue, photographs of the whole piece and affected area, and relevant care or storage details. Do not discard the piece or arrange a repair before ODSai responds.
Freight for an approved claim
ODSai covers reasonable shipping needed for an approved warranty remedy. A replacement does not restart the original warranty period; it remains covered for the balance of the original term, unless local law requires otherwise.
